After the pitch has been laid it will be beneficial to carry out occasional rolling, with a light roller, in order to settle the shockpad into the base and also further consolidate the aggregate. During this work, wrinkles may appear in the artificial at the end of the pitch. If this happens, the nails around the offending area need removing, the wrinkles pulled out, and the nails fixed again.
